Are there books that dicuss the subject of people who are both Jewish and Roma(Gypsy)?

Yes.  I cannot supply the names of these books, but I would go to a Rabbi in your area and ask for help.  Gypsies were prevalent in Hungary, Romania, Bohemia, Poland, the old countries with Slav identities.  But a Rabbi will be able to help you.
