also are there any candians besides garcia who play in the nfl?? also does the cfl draft from american collages??

Jeff Garcia is not Canadian, he was born, raised and still lives in California. There are a handful of Canadians who play in the NFL, but no great players. I can remember two Canadians who were drafted in the NFL as first-rounders in the 1980s. There was Mike Schaad who was drafted out of Queens University by the Los Angeles Rams in 1986, and also Tony Mandarich, who was drafted  by the Packers in 1989. Both were busts though, especially Mandarich, who was expected to be great, but he was later found out to have been a huge steroid user.

There are Canadians playing at US colleges, and the CFL does draft from US colleges.  The drafted player has to qualify as a non-import.  In the 2006 draft almost half the players selected were non-imports from US colleges.

Garcia is not Canadian.  Mark Rypien, Washington Redskins Super Bowl XXII (backup QB) and XXVI (starter) was born in Canada.

There have been a few kickers: Shaun Suisham, Mike Vanderjagt, Steve Christie.

Are you talking about Canadians who play in the NFL like Jon Ryan (punter for green bay) or Americans who played in the CFL and now play in the NFL like Garcia?

The CFL only drafts from Canadian schools but they pick up free agents from American colleges

Stop asking the same question  Im sure there are some playing in college because some people move from Canada to the US.  You know Ricky Williams.  He went from the US to Canada and played football so its probably not that uncommon to see the reverse happen.
