  1. bio ethanol is a political scam ! it does not work and it is raising food prices world wide.another brilliant idea by the moron politicians in washington.

  2. Yes. I never heard anyone call it bioethanol though. Most people just call it ethanol. I think all ethanol is "bio". You may be confusing ethanol with diesel. There is regular petro diesel and then there is bio diesel. All the big trucks use diesel instead of gasoline, but very few passenger cars sold in the U.S. burn diesel. Putting diesel in a gasoline car or gasoline in a diesel car will ruin the engine. There are flex fuel cars on the road today that can use both ethanol and gasoline as fuel. However very few stations sell ethanol. Most ethanol fuel is E85 which means it is really 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. There is only one station that sells E85 in my city as far as I know, but I have never been there because I do not have a flex fuel car. A number of regular cars are available with a flex fuel option. The Chevy Impala for example has a flex fuel engine option that costs nothing. I wonder why they don't just make it standard equipment!

  4. Any car can use up to 10% ethanol, most gas stations here in the Midwest sell a gasoline/ethanol blend.
