Are there cats that don't shed?

My best friend in the world is allergic to cat fur, but she is madly in love with felines. Does anyone know of any breeds that don't shed?

All cats shed, there are no breeds that don't shed at all. Some breeds shed less that others, a majority of which are the Rex family such as the Cornish Rex and others ending in the name Rex. The hairless "Sphinx" cat would probably be your best bet if you're looking for a cat that doesn't shed at all (it's not actually hairless, so it will shed very slightly, but less that any other breed out there.) yeah those hairless ones that look like rats, but I wouldn't want to wake up in the morning to THAT facing me, how horrifying

Yes.  The Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, or Sphynx cat all do not shed.

Even the hairless cats have hair. Get a Furbuster. It works wonders on shedding cats.

the fur or hair has nothing to do with it, it is the dander that a cat has on their skin, so it wouldn't matter if you shaved one completely bald, she would still be allergic to the cat, she should go to the doctor and take allergy shots if she wants to be around cats

How about a bald cat ? Lol - no seriously - the kind that has big ears and no fur ! I need to 'google' this breed as i do not know the name ! But it's out there ! Good luck !
