After just watching Bobby Labonte spin out, I wonder, are there rules for why there was no caution, or are there just no cautions all together?

  1. yes there are .... bobby labonte brought out the caution when he spun out in the lead....... but there are very few  cautions so you have to try and pass them or go on strategy in the pits..............!

  2. They don't usually have very many, unless there is a pile up that blocks the track.  The "BIG" one at this track could stop the race, depending where it happens.  They even had a caution in practice yesterday for a bunch of debris on the track.

  3. yes there are cautions but because this such a big track as in the area around the track that they dont call a caution unless the cars are on the track the actual pavement

edit: see how there is a caution now there was a wreck david ragan car may have dropped something... tires on the track

  4. Since Infenion is such a large track their are not usually cautions.  They do usually have what is called a local caution if a car is off track at one part of the track.  With a local caution no passing is permitted in the effected corner.  Only if a car is stuck and can not move out of danger would the flag man throw a full course caution.  Road courses have corner workers at every corner that would handle things such as throwing local cautions.

  5. The only throw a yellow in the turn the wreck is in unless it will mean a Hendrick driver can catch the leader which was Kyle Bush and Nascar threw 3 in the last laps to try to get Grandpa Gordon back to the front.  Jr couldn't have caught Kyle if he had a rope tied to Kyle's back bumper...
