Nope.  A bulb is a bulb and it has nothing to do with the mechanism that makes a touch lamp work.  Just make sure the bulb you purchase will fit in the socket.

any bulb will work but the more you use it the More it will blow. try cheap GE bulbs and see if they are ok for you also write the date on the bulb so you know how long it last

No. They use standard bulbs. They work by sensing the change in capacitance in the base of the lamp when you touch it. This then trips a relay to turn the bulb on or off. It has nothing to do with the bulb.
