I am really interested in going to the UK, New Zealand or Australia for a summer or a semester my junior year of high school. Are there any programs that are affordable, but also really good quality? I want to make sure I feel secure if I'm going to another country. Any information on programs would be apprecitated!

  1. Unfortunately, none of them are cheap. The least expensive is Rotary Youth Exchange, but it's the most competitive. The rest will run between $7,000 - $10,000 per year plus a monthly expense.

Quality programs include AFS, Aspect, YFU, the above mentioned Rotary, and many times ASSE (depending upon your location).

  2. yes and no..

go and see a career counselor

  3. I dont know but I would also like this information :P

  4. I guess it depends on your definition of "cheap," but I've heard many good things about AFS. I'm still trying to figure out how their pricing works though.
