Are there clothing-optional beaches in Huatulco, Oaxaca Mexico?

I've sunbathed nude before, but my fiance would like to try it for the first time. We're going to Huatulco in October for our honeymoon, does anyone know if they allow nude sunbathing?

I have been there, and I would say it is completely prohibited in Huatulco. There is a famous nude beach called Zipolite that is about an hour away. Zipolite is popular with a hippie and backpacker crowd and is also known for drug use. The beach at Zipolite is known as a nude beach, although most who go nude usually stick to the far ends of the beach. The waves are very strong on this beach and swimming can be dangerous.

   You can rent a car in Huatulco and drive up to Zipolite for the day.
