  1. I am living here all my life, never once saw one. I really don't think there are. If there are anywhere, even in the so called 'city slums' they are certainly not a problem.  Insects are not a problem here due to the climate (which is pretty sucky).

    Hope this helps :)

  2. Yes. St. Patrick did the snakes.

  3. There may be a few, but I never came across them. I mean not like in New York or somewhere.

  4. COCKroaches are everywhere !!!!

It is the survival of the fittest !!

  5. Yes there are cockroaches in Ireland but they are not at all common.  The climate isn't really beneficial to them.  We also have Cockchafer beetles, which I think are called June bugs in America.  They look very similar to cockroaches and can fly.

  6. Of course.

  7. There are loads of em - and that's just the people.

  8. Yes, but they are also in other places, too. Anywhere that there are people, cockroaches could be lurking about, as well. That's a fact of life.

  9. Cockroaches live anywhere there are humans.

  10. Yes they were introduced in a government experiment to see if the could survive in the Irish climate. They escaped and are known to have spread to the major cities now.
