Are there currently stingrays at the beaches in Rocky Point mexico?

Yes, there are stingrays around the beaches all year round. On the busy beaches you usually don't need to worry, the traffic in the water will ensure there are not many around, but If you are wading in empty beach areas it is a good idea to "shuffle" your feet around in the sand to scare any off. But stings are not that common.....

Also you need to keep an eye out for jelly fish, but this is not the "high season," the worst time for them is mid July through August.

Look sweetie, I can't tell you much more. If it was me, I don't like sharks or stingrays.... I love the big cool hotel swimming pools sitting in the deep end with a floater between my legs sipping an ice cold "Pacifico" - My son on the other hand, doesn't give a c**p. He was in Manzanillo last Christmas with his friends at a beach loaded with rays trying to sting them and he just laughed, kicked them away and thought it was extra "cool!" - Just be careful or find a hotel with the perfect pool......
