Are there different dialects of Hebrew?

When people ask for Hebrew help here the answers vary. If there are different dialects how does it affect communication?

  1. No there is not any Hebrew Dialect.

There are different ways to say anything in any language,sometimes a literal translation in one language wouldn't make sense in the language its  being translated in to,also most languages have sayings that if translated literraly would seem ridiculous,translate "i almost bought the farm" or "its raining cats and dogs".An advertising firm for kfc made news a few years ago when they translated "finger l*****g good" and instead they said "kfc makes you want to devour your fingers" another funny one is when snickers was marketed in china and "snickers really satifys you" became snickers brings back the souls of your dead ancestors"

  3. Ashkenazi Hebrew, Sephardic Hebrew and Israeli Hebrew pronounce things a little differently, but I don't think they are considered different dialects.  I think the reason that people give different answers here when asked for Hebrew help is that it can be hard to figure out what people mean in their transliteration into English letters.
