Are there exit visas in Nigeria?

Hey guys:) Are exit visas required in Nigeria (do you need a permission from your employer to leave Nigeria?)

When you have a resident permit in Nigeria, you need indeed an exit/reentry visa to come out and return to the country.

This visa is applied for by your sponsor, i.e. your employer.
