  1. No, there are no expiration dates, but the batteries do wear out after certain usage.

  2. 1000 charges before a battery generally has to be replaced.  That's the expiry that's usually labeled on rechargables.

  3. They certainly have an expiration dates. You will notice that gradually the batteries efficiency will be reduced. But don't expect it to be too soon like the 3rd or 4th time you have used them. They will last a lot and you will save a lot of money. And another thing is, i have tried every single brand of rechargeable batteries and SANYO is far the best. I have paid a little more in comparison with the other brands, but you will be very satisfied.

  4. Yes they dont last forever, but do for a long time.

  5. Well those new NiMH technology batteries are better than other NiMH batteries. But I'm not sure if you mean Shelf Life (before being used how long will they be capable of performing like a brand new one) or how they will hold their charge if after being in use they are stored for awhile (self-discharge).

I include several links to see good data.

BTW Kodak says their lithium ion batteries have a shelf life of ten years !!! Others claim 12 years!!!

  6. they should be fine if they don't have battery acid on them, and still work, over time(when charging and recharging) they lose the ability to hold as much electricity.

  7. no,they don not but everything has an end.

if you need more information go to this website and search:

  8. Generally, no.  Rechargeables are usually limited by the number of discharge-recharge cycles that they can tolerate, rather than anything time-related.

  9. EVERYTHING has an expiration date.

  10. no but typically 1 year with standard use and 2 with minimal use.  the cells loose there charge capabilites after a while.  if you get more than 2 years then your lucky
