  1. try a serogatted mother

  2. fetal banks? yak

  3. There is embryo adoption. Sometimes couples who have gone the IVF route will have embryos left and sometimes will say they want them to be donated to a couple that wants to adopt an embryo. The Embryo would then be placed into the woman. Of course you could also consider adopting a child already here. I understand though that you might want to go through a pregnancy.

  4. Fetus Adoption? I don't know anything about fetal adoption, that would be like taking a fetus out of a womans womb and transplanting it into the other womb and as far as medicine has advanced, I'm feeling like thats not possible...yet ( *gasp.* )

When getting involved with ideas like embryo adoptions one must be thinking about the result of this, and that is a human being. This human being (to be) should be the focus of this entire conversation. Right now we, as a world are ALL responsible for the fate of these children and one day adults who currently have no voices. It is in our hands how laws surrounding their identities and ancestry fall into place.

Selling human beings with no laws implemented to protect their rights is unethical. Anyone taking part in this has enough information to see that and is therefore responsible. Adoptees have been advocating against the sealing and withholding of information about their identities and adoptions since the 60's.

    This is wrong. Absolutely wrong.

  5. Fetus banks?  Are you effing serious?

Somebody turn the turnip truck around, we lost one.

  6. Fetus, no not that I'm aware. But there are embryo adoptions. Where the familys dont want their embros destroyed or tested on, so they give permision for them to be "adopted". An article I found for you so that you can do some of your own research is:

    http://www.christianexaminer.com/Article...

    good luck with your research!

  7. Look at www.snowflakes.org    They are a reputable embryo adoption "agency".  Embryo adoption is much like the adoption of a child.  Often times, you must have a home study just like if you were adoption a child.  Sometimes the "birth family" donates the embryo and wants to have a say in the family that receives the donated embryos, and other times they relinquish the embryos and are never heard from again.  There are open and closed adoptions of embryos just as there are for the adoption of children.

The cost of embryo adoption is close to that of an infant child, but there are other costs to consider.  You have to have a medical procedure to place the embryos in the womb.  I've undergone IVF, and at my clinic, this cost is $2500.  This does not include the medications.  (You must ready the uterus for a baby, and take progesterone after they are placed into the womb to increase the chances of them "taking" and achieving a pregnancy.).

This brings me to my third, and final, point.  You can go through all of this, and it can fail.  The process can be both emotionally and financially draining if you aren't prepared.  Snowflakes is a great resource for information and support!   Good luck on your journey!!

  8. Maybe adopt a baby?

  9. You can have someone else's egg implanted in you but there are no guaranteed results.

It depends on whether you would want to go through everything involved with it.

If you try and do not succeed, adopt!

  10. There arent fetus banks but there are egg banks. They will just create embroys from a donated egg (prescreeened for genetic disorders) and spearm and can implant it. Oh and in response to the first answerer, surrogate mothers do not use their own eggs for the pregnancy, it is the same process as above.

  11. that's just to creepy  to think about. baby fetuses just waiting  to be put in the next  in line. i know that's how you mean it. that's just the thought that went thru my mind. there's so many ways to adopt these days that i would start there. as far as WHO, i would be as lost as you.  so as far as  who's trustworthy, well i hope you get a lot of good answers. ....best wishes...

  12. How nice that you are aware of your genetic family medical history.

But you are quite willing to forego that same luxury of knowing their roots for another  human being.  Not good.  Not good at all.   This kind of manipulation of other human beings lives ought to be outlawed imho
