  1. Grapes (LOTS)

    prunes

    grapefruit

  2. Coffee works as a laxative, unless you drink a lot of it every day.  If you drink lots, it can have the opposite effect.  :-(  Even decaff cofee works, if you don't want all the caffiene.

  3. Flax seed...you can add it to your yogurt, oats, cereals smoothies...4 tbls per day...no bloating,no cramping, no runs...it is great and natural

  4. are there? yes theres plenty, depends on the person in some cases, but granola par fay goes right through me.

  5. hi, ye food that contains fibre such as whole meal breads and cereals. Also fruit like prunes should help. Plenty of water is also very very important, but it is fibre which will have the most effect, sam x

  6. drink milk and pickle juice

  7. Eating lots of prunes or cherries work for lots of people.

  8. Any foods with fiber.  Try Allbran buds.

  9. Cascara and Senna. But DO NOT use long term. They *can* cause tummy upset, so it's best to take them with peppermint or ginger or cloves to offset this, and, take SMALL doses. These herbs are for serious situations.

Flax works well, about 3 tablespoons per day (morning, lunch, evening) BUT, be sure to take it with sufficient amounts of fluid (around 2 cups of fluid per tablespoon) as it's a bulk forming laxative and requires more liquid, or it can make the problem worse. Flax is great as there are so many nutrients and healthy oils in it, and it doesn't cause tummy upset. You must be sure that the flax seeds are GROUND, not whole, as the whole ones run through your digestive tract, they aren't digestible in that form. And don't heat them, it kills the good stuff.
