  1. US gangs tend to be properly territorial and often wear identifying marks.

    English gangs tend to be random groups of chav thugs, with no ethos behind their acts of violence, other than the racially motivated attacks.

    They're harder to pick out therefore harder to avoid.  Stay away from the run-down council areas and you'll be okay.


  2. Not really, the gangs we have here are teenagers doing lots of macho posturing with knifes they've nicked from their mum's cutlery draw stuffed down their pants. Its generally not very organised and not about drugs/ money in the way gangs in the US are.
