Are there genetic differences between the races?

If there isn't why is every all black country poor, violent, Barbaric, intolerant, with out effective transport, education, political, legal systems, architecture, sewerage, gas and electrical systems, techology, food networks and every white country has all these things, and please don't blame it on colonialism - the countries that weren't colonialized are just as bad , as are most of the black areas of white countries.

yes. there are genetic variations between regions ,countries and other lines. DNA testing has now reached such levels it is fairly reliable  and can trace some  single members of humanity back to certain spots only or regions in some countries.

the science is still being developed but almost all in the field seem to accept mankind has been traced back in time using genetic markers to a single  'ape' in Africa called 'Lucy'.

so races can be singled out and traced through time and movement across the planet. not entirely  foolproof but if you consider the 'TURIN' shroud needed a sample size over a foot square to get an accurate carbon dating and now only needs around 20 mm square you can see advances in technology will  make DNA too more accurate over time.

There must be some, because white people give birth to white kids, and black people give birth to black kids.

Also, the muscular structure of black people is slightly different from whites, they have more of a certain type of muscular strand.

yeah there is alright and a good place were this is evident is at the Olympics...you'll notice that the winner of the 100m sprint will be of African descent as they have a greater bone density and their muscles are able to twitch faster than people of other origins. But that's just one example I'm sure there are a good few more other slight genetic differences

Not only is there a genetic difference between races, there is a genetic difference between everyone. Where do you get this idea that ALL black countries are poor, violent, barbaric, intolerant etc.? It is true a lot of them are disadvantaged, but it is a socio-economic thing, coupled with the result of  colonialism. In the early days of colonialism, most of Europe "raped" Africa and bled it dry of its resources. Any technological and social improvements were only shared within Europe and not with Africa. In fact, the resources pilfered from Africa helped to build Europe.

Unfortunately where there is poverty in Africa, there is corruption, especially in governments. The many little wars in the African continent are either financed or supplied arms by Europe or America. Africa is also a continent divided by its many languages. If one day, the continent of Africa becomes unified, it will be a force to be reckoned with.  

You say most of the black areas in white countries are underdeveloped. Why do you think that is? It couldn't be institutionalised racism could it? It is within some peoples memories from the 1950's and 60's who can recall notices on the windows of apartments to rent - "No blacks" What about in certain areas of the U.S. where blacks were only allowed to sit at the back of the bus?

I consider myself privileged to be a white European from the UK where I don't suffer the hardships of many of my black fellow humans. Next time you see a black lawyer, remember, he has had to work twice as hard as his white counterpart to get where he is. It is time to move on: this is now the 21st century. We should be all brothers and sisters. Remember, we all end up in the same coffin when we die.

U obviously have not travelled to any so called Black countries because African countries do have technology, electricity and legal systems. They also have education systems better than those in several white countries.  Several studies in UK, and US have shown that Africans and Asians outperform white people academically and physically both in school and varsity. There is more genetic variation within African people than white people.

Speaking of barbarians, the word was originally used to describe white (Viking and Goth people) in Europe so i am assuming u would be a descendant of a Barbarian.

And please do not act as if there are no poor white people who live in slums and do not go to school and work because they are high on drugs. The difference is, you are so busy trying to put other people down you cannot see your own problems.

Yes. Genetic differences exist. Like its just been found that a gene (DARC) present in the negroes in sub-saharan Africa, between the areas of Nigeria and Mauritania does not allow for proper management of the virus HIV in early stage of infection.

Apart from the obvious issue of genetically inherited skin colour, it is thought that black people have a higher bone density that white peope. Which is why you don't see many black swimmers.

There have been some studies published which attempt to show that there is a genetiv difference between the races in terms of intelligence. Most notoriously Charles Murray's Bell Curve. This argued black people had biologically determind lower IQ scores than white people. However, since IQ tests are very much biased towards middle-class white people, it doesn't appear to have much scientific validity.

There have also been some studies into average p***s size of the different races. One of these found that, generally speaking, black men have the largest, white men second and asian men third. How much truth there is in this is, however, still open to debate.

First thing to say is that race is a completely meaningless concept in biological terms. It is like dividing European populations into groups according to their hair colour. Just forget about race as a way of dividing humans into groups.

Human populations are genetically different from one another and the degree of differentiation depends on the length of time they have been separated from one another. Sticking to Africa, if you genetically sampled different populations - which you might identify by language for example - you would find they were genetically different and in some cases these differences would be as great as differences between some African populations and European ones.

The reasons for some of the problems that you refer to, go back well before historical times into the Neolithic, when populations in Asia - the region around Turkey and Iran developed Agriculture which then led over generations to settled farming communities. In many parts of Africa development of agriculture in the same way was not possible as there were not the plants and animals available to them for domestication. Hence populations stayed as small hunter-gatherer communities until the modern era.

Colonialism in all parts of the world had a massive impact which can't be ignored - thousands of years of cultures were overturned in a short space of time and populations struggled to cope with the drastic changes. On top of that communities with different histories, belief systems etc. were thrown together in single countries and there was a power struggle for control which contributes to some of today's problems in some African countries and elsewhere too.

But to say all of this is ignoring one thing - it's convenient to forget that before 1945 most of Europe spent much of it's life at war going back centuries with despotic kings, emperors and the like seizing control of countries at the expense of most ordinary people - so I don't think the Europeans have any claim of superiority there.

Do read Guns germs and steel by Jared Diamond to learn about why populations in the temperate and tropical areas developed along different trajectories and the Mismeasure of man to understand what it is to be human and rid yourself of ideas concerning race as a defining part of human biology. The issues that face the populations of the world today are based on history rather than biology.

Mainstream science doesn't even acknowledge the concept of race as a valid biological concept. It is simply a crude way to divide people into meaningless groups. Genetic studies have determined that of the total allelic variation in human beings, roughly 85% of that variation can be found in any so called "group." With the total phenotypical differences (superficial traits) only accounting for about 5 - 7% of the "total" variation seen in all people. While eye color is a polygenic trait, please note that there can be many versions of the same gene causing, blue eyes, brown eyes, green eyes, etc... Each gene partly responsible for eye color "varies" from the others, creating a variability ratio between all people concerning which particular version of that gene you have. Interestingly enough, you yourself could be more genetically alike to someone from another group than to your own, because of the fact that 85% of all variation exists in any ethnic group. In otherwords humanity is a spectrum where where you fall is not clear cut, and that no person can clearly be placed in a segregated group, and also it is dynamic with constantly shifting variables.

That my friend is a matter of economic and political stability. Alot of those countries are landlocked, and without even the crudest of processing refineries to export what natural minerals resources they have if any. Without a agricultural base to even feed themselves, how do you expect them to sell there product to neighboring countries? When a tyrannical minorty leader rules the country with violence, how can you not expect in to trickle down into the citizens daily lives. Without a proper educational system, how do you expect these people to make these necessary changes on their own? About 25 years ago many of these countries were given their independence from France, The Commonwealth of Britain, etc... and were left without aid. Lets see how quickly it would take someone to revert to their innate animal behaviors if you hadn't eaten in a week. People learn to be civilized, they aren't born that way. Like learning to defecate in a toilet instead of your pants.
