  1. There are many relatively inexpensive hotels that serve breakfast but if by "Bed and Breakfast" you mean a place that serves a big thumping English or American style breakfast then there is no such place. Breakfast in France tends towards the very light and usually consists of only coffee and bread with butter and jam.

Probably the cheapest hotel in the city center is the Hotel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arrondissement.(Phone: +33 (0)1 42 36 94 58

Fax: +33 (0)1 42 36 02 94) where you can get a double for €50 (about $67). This is an excelllant location, right in the very center of the city.

If you stay there you will find yourself surrounded by places to shop. The area is very youthful and hip.The Forum Les Halles, a huge, mainly underground, shopping Mall is only a few blocks away.
