Are there good surfing waves in Jamaica?

omg dont go there especially ocho rios. i went there last april on a cruise and it was horrible people trying to take ur money they say they will take u to a private beach which we belived and he took us to a beach where every single person from the ship went private my *** and they ask u if u want to by ganja (weed) and there is a possiblity of getting jumped by those jamaicans and getting all your stuff stolen its happened to a friend.

haha ya but dont go all the way over there on my opinion lol because i know from the tide pulling up hte surface waves are big near ocho rios.

ive heard there was.. never personally been there though.. BUT its not all the time.. you have to look for the tide moment.. where i live in brazil for about 2 months of the year the ocean would be like a mirror.. the waves wouldnt get any bigger then 2 foot tall(front breaking view) but during high season of the year which was around jan we would get up to 9 feet waves, and on high tide storms up to 15foots(front breaking view).

so yea.. u need to learn its tides and times first b4 going.
