Are there high school snowboarding teams? help please?

i was thinking of setting up a team at my high school but was wondering if there is a league or any teams in the northeast that we would be able to face. a list of some schools would be nice and maybe if theres a league then a league website. thank you

There generally aren't but lots of ski resorts have boarder cross teams or slalom teams. See what you can find out about mountains near you!

Well depends where you live.. I'm in Vancouver, BC and there are few school in the VSB with snowboarding teams, a lot more with snowboarding clubs. Most of the schools in our league are private schools but check out http://www.bcschoolsports.ca/pages/sport...

I live in Tahoe and I'm in high school and at almost every school, there is a snowboard team, it really depends where you live, you can't live in the city and be an 2 hours from the slopes and have a team, but if they don't have one at your school, look into joining one of the resorts teams, like I'm on the Northstar snowboard team which is one of the best where I live and they hook you up with jackets, pants, and all other stuff.
