I don't have diabetes, but have PCOS. I usually take 1 generic Claritin called Loratadine, daily. I'm now also taking Metformin daily. I haven't taken my loratadine for about a week, but want to start back up...I woke up and couldn't breathe through my nose, but couldn't take a sudafed. Metformin interacts with pseudoephedrine. I'll be asking a pharmacist when I get a chance, but thought I'd ask on here first to see if anyone knew off hand.

  1. Loratadine is fine with Metformin.  Plain Loratadine is pretty much fine with everything, you just wouldn't want to double up with another allergy medicine.
