Are there international airlines that allow cabin crew to have variations in vision (exc/ept color blindness)?

  1. Are you asking about cabin crew or cockpit crew? Cockpit crew must have a class 1 medical for airline flying. This requires a corrected vision of 20/30 (I believe, maybe its 20/20). There are some small vision issues that you'd never notice in normal life that can also disqualify you.

    I'm not aware that our cabin crew require any type of medical certification testing other than basic employment testing. I'd have to ask them what they do. I would be surprised if there was much.

    except for severe colorblindness

    They will give you a vision test and you may need to get glasses(spectacles) but thats it
