Are there job positions for ESL (English as Second Language) teachers in China

BEIJING excellence school needs 21 esl teachers for this August

BEIJING excellence school is located at The capital city of China, which is famous for its coming Olympic games.

We Primary school Division needs 5 esl teachers. Salary range is 7000-8000 rmb

Junior High school Division needs: one esl teacher for sociology and 3 esl teachers for the English Teaching. The salary range is 7500-9000 rmb.

Senior high school Division needs: 5 esl teachers for the Maths teaching, 3 esl teachers for history and 5 experienced esl teachers to teach English. The salary range is 8500-12000.

All the candidates need to be the English native speakers , Who come from American, Canada, Uk, Australia, and New Zealand, and only come from these five countries.

Teacher who wants to teach in our school need the requirement as below:

1)Holding a B.A degree at least

2)Having a TESOL certificate or other related certificate (preferred)

3)Having teaching experience

4)working hard and getting on well with students.

5)the age is less than 58 years old.

There are many more teaching positions for English teachers in China than there are teachers able and willing to fill them.

The PRC government is beginning to insist on foreign teachers having degrees.  In the past, just bein able to speak the language was sufficient.

I used to teach in China and even though I had a job I still could've filled up all my nights and weekends with extra work if I wanted to.  There simply aren't enough teachers in China and with other Asian countries offering higher salaries and China's new insistence on a degree they are going to have a huge teacher deficit this year.
