at 12 you may have a hard time finding work. I worked as a 12 year old as a paperboy.

but 14? you can only do local jobs.

like ask your neighbors if they need any help, chores, babysitting, things like that.

I don't live in North Carolina but I heard it's pretty hot there. You could try,

lemonade/snack stand

Garage Sale

Dog Walking

Helping elders do their grocery shopping

Mowing the lawn

Garden Work: Weeding, Planting, Watering the garden

House Work: Dishes, Laundry, Garbage, (chores)

Maybe talk to your parents and ask if they'll give you money if you went around and picked up trash in your community.

You could even try helping out at a local church .

These are all the ideas I could come up with right now, I hope you find a job though! And use that money to buy things you actually need, like clothes and food. (: GOOD LUCK!
