Most jobs that don't have to do with financial services or personal info hire. I'm sure most employers will not look down on filing a false report like they would a violent crime or theft. There is usually a place to explain the situation on an application. Also find someone to write a reference letter for you, the more status they have the better, a preacher or a teacher will work too and just automatically put that with an app or resume. If you tell us what kind of job you're interested in maybe we can help you some more, we don't know if you're trying to get a job at Kroger pushing carts or at Chrysler as financial analyst.
