  1. There can be, it's not as common as people make it out to be. Bacteria can live in kerosene and diesel, if there is water in it. Mostly what you see is at the bottom of a tank or in the can is the gunk when the fuel breaks down, bacteria can cause the fuel to break down faster, but nothing will stop it from breaking down.


  2. It all depends on if you keep the chimnies

    clean on your kerosene lamps.

        My late brother repaired and fueled private

    jets and he'd bring some good 'ol JP-4 up to the

    farm for us to use in our lamps.

        Burned nice and bright yellow-white flame.

        As for that petrol station.......

    Perhaps it would be best to try another fuel stop !

        That particular petrol dealer sells lousey products.

        Mom Nature really knows how to clean-up after

    Her messy Kids,though.

    Bacteria and enzymes just love to gobble-up all

    the Goo left after oil spills.
