Are there keyboard shortcuts for iTunes in Mac OS to uncheck the songs?

In every songs there is a box before them. I wonder there is keybord shortcuts for iTunes in Mac to check or unckeck this box?

Or if there is a third part software to do this in iTunes when playing.

Click to select one song. Press ⌘ + A (select all). Right-click (or control-click for a one button mouse or trackpad). Choose "uncheck selection".

Now is my chance to get on my soapbox. I hate this pre-checked list. Whose idea was that?
