Are there large popuations of tiger sharks in the gulf of mexico? or just a little?

are they aggresivve in this area? and i know they ave been known to grow up to 20 feet.. but have they been known to grow any larger? and were is the best place int gulf to find them or are they all along the gulf coast?

Like most shark species there is insufficient information on populations.  It is a species of concerned.  it has been heavily fished in most areas.
