Here's how it goes:

I was at this gaming store the other day, and this store is always filled with minors, esp. 13 and below, because it is right next to a kids corner or a kids fun fair. So, one of the kids was irritating and picking on another kid, his brother. The other kid gets mad and picks up a metallic chair and throws it across to the kid that was teasing him. It wasn't an overhead throw. It was a underhand from right to left swing of the chair. ( hopefully, you can picture this. Just imagine grabbing the top part of a chair and then swing like a bat, but then you intentionally let go.) So, the other kid dodges, and guess what was behind him?....a display case....OUCH!....yep. Their mother was called and was showed the display case. She said nothing. The next day, I saw the same kids in the store as if nothing had happened. I guess the owner isnt sure what he had to do. I'm just dumbfounded. That's why I ask the question.

  1. These kids should be properly guided and it is the responsibility of the parents. As most the store clearly indicated fragile items " its is nice to see, once its break it is consider sole " the owner should have every right to claim for the loses.

  2. well i'm sure if he wanted to he could have pressed charges. because technically it is vandalism. But he probably would save more money just letting it go then taking it to court.

  3. Its criminal damage but the shop keeper has to have witnesses or camera-to make the mother pay.

Suprised he didnt ask you to be witness.

Or he might just be philosophical and let them off.

Or he might be well insured
