If the bankruptcy has been discharged, you're temporarily a better credit risk than before the bankruptcy.  The reason is, you can't declare bankruptcy again for a certain number of years.

Since you have been recently filed bankruptcy forget getting a loan from banks. They will never loan to some one who has been filed bankruptcy in the last 7 years.
