Are there many English in the Royal Regiment of Scotland?

I am pretty sure they are mostly Scottish.

You have to define 'English' before you can get a realistic answer. Do you mean persons of Scots descent? OR do you include persons of Scots descent born in England?

As a one time regular of mixed (Scots and English) ancestry I can state with certainty that when you're in a potential or actual combat situation you don't give a f*** where your team comes from. All you care about is how handy they are when it comes to fighting.

Yes there are, just as there are many Scots serving in other regiments of the British Army, that could be described as "English".

I have heard in the media before that alot of the officers are but the man on the street are Scottish.
