Are there many bugs which sting us, like mosquitoes, in mid-Sept　WDW?

If so, what should I prepare for them?

I live in Orlando about 10 minutes from Epcot.  But I grew up in Madison, WI.

I know all about mosquitoes.  We had tons of them up north.  Down here, in general, we have much fewer mosquitoes and about the same number of bees and wasps as we had in Wisconsin.

I've never had an issue with bugs at the parks.  You don't have anything to worry about.

My dd is ultra sensitive to bug bites and attracts mosquitos.  Other places we have to take precautions, but not at Disney.  WDW does a great job of controlling them.  It's not even a consideration for us when we're there, and we average once a month.  (annual passholders)

Most of the metropolitan areas in Florida fog for mosquito's and stuff.  I believe Disney does the same.  It really makes the bug problem non-existent unless you go hiking in the everglades or one of the state parks.

I have never had a problem with bug bites at Disney World.  My son is the type of kid who gets tons of bites and he has never had any either.  September can have the love bugs, but they do not bite, they are just annoying.

there won't be as many, but in most of the tourist areas they spray and you never really see or feel mesquitos.

there are stinging, biting bugs all over florida all times of the year, but disney does a great job of controlling them-i think ive only been bitten once, at animal kingdom lodge. ive never had to bring bug spray and ive been there 30 times

Rainy is season is about over by then.

Mosquitoes come out in early morning and early evening.

You can always get a can of DEET.

September is love bug month.

Love bugs don't sting but can be annoying.

I'd be more concerned about Bee's , Mid September is a good time for them. especially with flowers in bloom.
