  1. Practice/Study eventually =memory

  2. just keep on playing the chords and sooner or later you'll get it. i know i did... probably because i just got lazy to look it up that i finally memorized it, lol.

  3. with enough practince youll get it

  4. chords?

there are pretty simple but get ureself a full chord sheet with where you need to put your fingers and your away :)

chord sheets can be brought from any music shops

  5. I sure do.

    Minor Triad-1-b3-5

    Em=E  G  B

    Major 7 Chord-  1 3 5 7

    E Maj 7=  E G# B D#

    I think you mean Bbm7

    Minor 7th chord   1 b3 5 b7

    Bbm7 chord=  Bb  Db  F  Ab

    Diminished triad=  1 b3 b5

    E dim=  E  G  Bb

    Augmented triad=1 3 #5

    E Aug=  E  G#  C

What do you mean by b#5?   Do you mean a dominant 7th chord with a #5 like G7#5?

YOU DON'T NEED A SPECIAL MEMORY.  YOU NEED TO APPLY YOURSELF AND PRACTICE THIS.

Remember this.   There are FOUR kinds of triads.

Major, Minor, Augmented and Diminshed.  Everything else is just an extension of those chords.

To make it even easier for my students I categorize the augmented and diminshed chords as members of the 7th chord family because they're really just partial 7ths.  Take E augmented for example.  If you add a Bb to it it becomes a C7#5 chord:  C E G# Bb.   So if I'm soloing over chords like that, I'll think of them as 7ths.

  6. No, you just need to keep reading them.

Everyday. After a few months, it will be second nature.

No big deal, just like reading now.

Anyway there are lots of websites to help break it down for you.

I mean it isnt to hard really once you get used to it

    e minor

    e major  etc etc

    GOOD LUCK

  7. The one thing that always stood out for me when I first began learning the guitar was that you have to practise a lot.  I suppose it's the same in your case.  Keep practising until you get it - which you will do eventually.
