Are there many scratches on ipod touch screen after some use?

Should i be worried about getting scratches, smudge marks etc. on my ipod touch. I do not have one, but I was wondering how bad the screen gets after some use. If it does get pretty bad, what kind of screen protector should I use to protect it?

Ipod touch screens are nearly impossible to get scratched.

The screen is very scratch resistant! It CAN get scratched, but not easily! To be safe, I also put an Invisible Shield on mine. I highly recommend them!

Also the ipod touch DOES NOT come with a screen protector

but they are $5 at walmart!

it doesnt come with a screen protector. you need to buy one these they are cheap. other wise yes it will scratch. they find the most random ways to scratch themselves so watch out. the back scratches as well so get a case
