  1. the east coast of the U.S. I assume???

Yes, its cold water, so they would be there.

I have found the colder the water, the bigger the shark.

    I live in OZ.

  2. Absolutely  There is one spot on the east coast called like shark attack capital of the world or something.

  3. yeah in this season alone i saw a 12 ft white tip in the line up, and a nurse shark with her pups and a sandbar shark, theres a lot of sharks out there but why would you want to see them. just to remind you half of florida is on the east coast and theres numerous sharks there

  4. Bull sharks are everywhere in Florida, they have attacked more people than any other shark and Florida is where most of them are.  they are further up the coast also but when you get to the Carolina's there are mostly sand tigers, they are called different names in other parts f the world, they have very gnarly teeth but are not very aggressive towards people. I'm not sure whats further north cause I don't go there.  If you are in the water regularly then you should probably familiarize yourself with whats goin to be around you. remember just cause you don't see sharks when your out there doesn't mean there isn't one ten feet from you just chillin.

  5. There are sharks everywhere but your likelihood of seeing one will vary with where you are.  Central Florida (Volusia and Brevard counties) is the shark attack capital of the world,  but you are still highly unlikely to get bitten.  I have seen sharks almost every time I have gone surfing in Florida, but never been approached or threatened by one.

I live in the mid-Atlantic and have never seen a shark while out surfing here.  Of course we don't have very clear water so you can't really see anything anyways.  They are definitely out there though.
