  1. Yes, there are metallic foams.

    Aluminum is commonly made into a foam.  It's denser than polymer foams (and much denser than aerogel), but it's also much stronger and has very good energy-absorbing properties.  It has applications in ballistics for this reason.

    The lattice structure of a metal foam gives it a lower density than solid metal, but due to the vastly increased surface area, it is much more susceptible to corrosion, making it unsuitable for many structural applications.


  2. There is super foam and supra foam where the geometric  structure is amplified when subjected to magnetic wave.Such as metalic hydrogen.
