Are there minimum speed limits in force on any of Britain's roads?

I said MINIMUM speed limits, NOT 'maximum' speed limits. Please read the question and understand the difference.

  1. no there aren't.  they have to allow for stationary traffic.  even on motorways!  it's not like they could prosecute you for "failing to drive at the minimum speed" if you're sat in a queue of cars that are bumper to bumper!

    "Signs with blue circles but no red border mostly give POSITIVE instruction"

    White numbers on a blue circle indicate the MINIMUM SPEED

  4. yes around schools a max speed of 20mph,built up areas 30mph.
