Are there muslim areas in Indian Punjabi cities such as Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar?

I've been to Lahore in Pakistan and they're Punjabi Muslim so I was wondering if there are Muslim areas in the big cities of Indian Punjab where you can find Mosques, halal food and the muslim people and culture. Punjabis are cool. I like the kurtas and pajamas. Oi, ki hal e yaare!

While most of the muslims from East Punjab went to Pakistan in 1947 but still there are about 1 million muslims in East Punjab. Malerkotla is a town near Sangrur which has a clear muslim majority(appx. 65%). My knowledge says that most villages have 1 to 20-25 muslim families. Off the 12000+ villages n Punjab sarpanches of at least 50 villages are muslim. Of the total muslims in East Punjab about 50% are punjabies but others are migrant labour from Bihar & UP. Mosques are everywhere i.e more than 5 in big cities and one in every 10-12 villages. Mazaarsn dargsh of sufi babas are countless. Muslim food Halaal is available mainly in Malerkotla. As on an average a muslim family 5-7 children they are increasing day by day.
