Question:

Are there natural ways to hide small scratches in my wooden table?

I have a dining room table that could use some sprucing up. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for all of your help. :0)

  1. if the scratches are only faint . mix olive oil with cigarette ash and gently rub, if no ash mix toothpaste with baking soda and oil


  2. Try a furniture polish like Pledge or a product called Liquid Gold or wax could help it.

  3. at your local paint store they carry paint color crayons for furniture  all u need is to match the color of  ur table and scratch the crayon on the damage spot and u will see the change

  4. my mother in law has antiques and natural wood furniture throughout her house and she told me she uses mayonaise for scratches.I was in the middle of refinishing a dresser when she told me this trick so it was a little late for me to test it. just rub mayo in it. I think the blend of oil and eggs makes this work. It sounds gross but she swears to it!

  5. Rub a walnut on it.  Yeah I'm serious. Black Walnuts work best but try whatever you have in the house.

  6. There is something called an almond stick that works great for scratches. It comes in a little red tin with a yellow label and can be found in some hardware stores. It only costs a couple of bucks as I remember and lasts a long time.
