Are there new groove width laws in 2009 ?

Are there going to be new groove width and depth laws in 2009 .

If so how many top name wedges would be deemed out of action >>

No one can be sure of the groove rulings for 2009. The recent 2008 meetings between the R&amp;A and the USGA left that subject alone. The last bruhaha was with the Ping grooves and the sharpness which scraped the paint from the ball and if properly hit could spin even on a pavement. If I remember, Ping did get some concession which was written into the standards for the following year.
