I was in the garage and saw a huge moth on the windshield of the car. When I went to pick it up I dropped it and it kept flipping from his back to his stomach. That was when I noticed it had no legs. Weird, I know. I went ahead and took it inside to give to the kitten to play with, but my mom took it from me and said "the poor thing doesn't even have legs and you are giving it to the cat?". lol. So, was it a freak of nature, or are there usually moths with no legs?

  1. Insects can be born with flaws just like humans.  Or it is possible it landed on a hot surface and burnt them off.  No species of moth has no legs normally.
