  1. Woah, it's Schrodinger all over again... a radio DJ is either on the air or off the air.  If the DJ is prerecorded and being played on the air, he's in a superposition of on-air and off-air states.  Assuming the recording is good, there's no way to tell which state he's in until you check on him at the studio, but as soon as you do, the function collapses into one state or the other and stays that way for the remainder of the show.  Macroscopic quantum phenomena right under our noses... I wonder why nobody noticed before?
