Are there organizations to help disable person with their bills?

I had a friend that got behind who is disabled and was unable to get anyone to help, even the organization that were designed to help people like him told him no, some even went so far as to say he wasn't old enough even though he was disabled, so unless your over 65 your probably on your own. It will be a learning curve for you.. Gods Speed..

Try SSI (Supplemental Security Income) under administration of Social Security - I believe they also have a special disability group. Also check w/church groups.
