  1. That's funny because I knew somebody from Ohio that insisted it was "pop" not "soda".  I was like whatever.  I'm from eastern Pennsylvania and always call it soda.

  2. I grew up in Ohio, and now live in Calif. I say sodapop, and my husband giggles at me when I do.

  3. I go to school in Texas where seemingly everything's known to the locals as Coke but having lived in Canada out of habit I call it pop, or refer to an item by its specific name. (Sprite, Fanta, Dr Pepper, etc.) Anyone in "The Lone Star State" know where I can get "Clearly Canadian" = I miss that stuff so much (south of San Antonio if at all possible)

  4. I am from washington, born and raised, and laugh at people when they call is "soda" haha. Everyone I know calls it pop. :)

  5. when I left Texas to Maryland in the army i had alot of friends from midwest uptop that called it pop and i always made fun of them. they would even ask if there was pop in the pop machine. i just call it soda

  6. I was born in Oklahoma, where my folks all called it "sodapop" - yep, both words run into one...say that her in New York, and they wonder when the guys in the white coats are going to come and get you.
