Are there people who don't lie?

or is everyone just out to get the most for themselves? where can you find good people?

But seriously, if you want to find people who don't lie, cheat or steal, you should just go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a very strong reputation of being highly morality upright people =)

Me.  I don't lie on purpose.  Mom made me eat soap when I was 10.  Yuck.  It's better to tell the truth even if no one wants to hear it than to eat soap!

As a whole I would say Jehovah's witnesses, But there are good people everywhere. Hard to find though.

I know for a fact that there are people out there who try every day to be as Jesus wants them to be.

So in answer to your question I would say yes.

The Jehovah's Witnesses strive every day to meet the requirements of the true bible faith and this means no lies.

Of course, no one is without sin.

If there were 500 eye witnesses of an event and one Jehovah's Witness told a different account, I would believe the Jehovah's Witness.  

“But let God be found true, though every man be found a liar.”—Rom. 3:4.

I lie casually, because something in me prompts me to do so. I can't really help it, most of the time.

However, I can suppress it if I am asked a serious question. Unless of course the truth would inconvenience me.

Actually, I tell the truth even then, sometimes. But only if it's an acceptable loss.

You assumed good people never lie in your question, and that's just not true.

Neither is the assumption that all lies are to "get the most" for the liar.

Possibly Gandhi. Read his autobiography "The Story of My Experiments with Truth" and it is clear that his adult life was dedicated to truthfulness and right action.

Whether he ever lied - I don't know, but as an adult he was completely truthful.

There are quite a few people who try their best to be honest, though I suppose everyone is occasionally mistaken.  The Amish are a large group with a high level of integrity.

I lived my life a lie for many years and now I try not to do that. Today I tell as much truth as I can.So I do not make any money or get any worldly possessions. If someone has to live by truth alone then it will be a life bereft of any worldly attachments.You will have to become an ascetic like me!That does not mean That I am a good person!It means I am simple!

Every one lies its human nature, but everyone doesn't lie to try and get something from someone there are good people in the world who try to do the right thing by everyone, but the problem is you may never get to know the good people because society has made people that way that they go on what they see first and not get to know anyone to find out the real person that's what I think anyway.

I'm an honest person; that is the way to get the most for myself in the long run. I have things I want to gain; by being honest with others and building up trust, people are more likely to work with me to help me attain the things I wish.

I did lie once to somebody, telling them that there was no surprise party planned for her, but that was in keeping with the spirit of the party, with no malice intended.

I don't lie very well, my body language and my eyes give me away so I try not to lie but sometimes its necessary. Sometimes I fudge the truth so as not to give false hope or to avoid hurting someones feelings. I often lie to avoid spreading rumors. In my job bad things happen to good people and rumors are like cancer so I say IDK instead of answering their questions. Its a lie but its a good lie.

I don't lie, but I don't know if you would call me a good person. Being brutally honest with people is a skill, most g*y men have this skill. Contrary to popular belief, after your life is shaken to the core telling lies seems sort of trivial. I am one of the brutally honest ones. Most can't handle that.
