  1. There are quiet a few out there.  Most of the big internet players have also moved into the brick and mortar arena also though.  Just check out any issue of bluff magazine and you will see a list of who is who in cyber poker.  One that I have played against on more than a few times, Justin Morgan, has made well over 1 million dollars playing online (or so I have read).  My g/f plays online for her income, though not to the extent that alot of the big time pro's make.  There are always a rather large sum of folks that make 100k or more a year online.

  2. If there is I'm quitting my job!!

  3. Not completely sure...but I had two friends in college that tried this, one dropped out and did it full time.  He made about $1000/month (not exactly enough to support yourself unless you live with 4 other guys in a small apartment and eat ramen).  The other one stayed in school and only made like $200/month on average.  Keep in mind that they played A LOT and there were months that they made a ton and months they lost a ton so you really have to be confident and the type of person that doesn't need to know where their next paycheck is coming from.  I wouldn't do it.

  4. I doubt any of them will admit it but I think there are.

  5. Yes, there are, of course the pros and some of the best internet players work only this

  6. I am positive there are. In fact, I know of one professional poker player who has gone from the casino poker rooms to online poker. Reason being is that he says he can just play away while still in his jammies duh. hahahahaha.

He gets on the sites he finds in the  http://www.best-poker-site-reviews.com/ . He says that that is the most honest site that he has seen and he has even contributed to the review as a visitor.

So to those who are actually contemplating a career in online poker, good luck!

  7. Yes plenty.  I know about 120-130 personally but there are many more then that. It is fairly easy to make $100k with online poker so a lot of people are attracted to it.

Just using Stars as an example there are about 80 people with SuperNova Elite status which represents ~$120k in loyalty program value + whatever they win/lose.

My main source of income is sports betting and B&M poker but I do make enough from online poker that even if I didn't have the other two streams I could still live well off just the online stuff.
