The flag is a little reminiscent of one and my friend claimed that they wouldn't know what they were or have them in the country.

  2. Yes they have some but Peppermint flavor is not very popular or liked in Japan...

  3. There is but peppermint isnt a big flavor out there

  4. Yes there are but Japanese adults have no havit to love the taste of relish like American except some candy, chewing gum and mentos.

  5. Ya hold it up dude!!!!! and you'll be like the cool guy!!!! Wow look at the dude holding the peppermint! Anime and Manga!! 4 life!!!

REALLY. Are you serious, the peppermint, the candy that has been around for decades. Like nobody knows what a peppermint is. So is that what you think of Japan? It's people like you that the Japanese don't respect.

  6. The design of the Japanese flag is not based on a peppermint candy.  It represents the rising sun.

Peppermints exist in Japan but they aren't very popular.  Neither are spicy cinnamon candies like Red Hots.  Most hard candy is Japan is fruit flavored.

  7. I've got a bunch of peppermint plants growing in my herb garden here, and there are plenty of peppermint flavored breathmints, gums, and candies.  But I haven't seen the white-and-red swirled peppermint candies that were common back home in America.  I'm sure you can find them in stores that import foreign foods, but they're not something you'll see everywhere.
