Are there places that help people with multiple sclerosis move from one house to another?

im trying to move in a couple of months and i need help with moving my stuff and i also need someone who has a trunk to help me move. i also could use help with my deposit if there's anybody who can i surely will be happy.

  1. Ummmm..... Yes, they're called moving companies. And they'll work for anyone, if you have MS or not.

    Just beware. Movers are about as honest as used car salesmen. Get a recommendation from a friend.

    Oh, and don't use a mover who asks YOU to bring the truck, and they just supply the men. This is a way to weasel out of being government regulated. Companies that ask you to supply the truck are LESS honest than a used car salesman. You should use a company that supplies the truck. Don't sign any truck rental papers. Don't sign two separate documents for the truck and for moving.

    If you are in the USA, try your local chapter of the NMSS. They may be able to help pay part of the moving expenses.

    If you belong to a church, temple or similiar organization, they sometimes can help finanically or have volunteers. Youth groups too.

    I just moved in January and it was a nightmare.
