  1. wait how can you be poor when you have the internet and a computer???????

  2. check you local yahoo groups, our city has a freecycle group for stuff like that.

  3. try at your local homeless shelter if they have a store.

  4. yes Dubai is a good place just find out about Dubai cares on the Internet I'm sure that you will It has everything

Dubai is a nice place for any one and i mean anyone realy

you should find your poor friend a nice comfy place there trust me there are so many people who do work for poor friends

    they treat them realyyyyy nicely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Try www.freecycle.org.  It is a group that was formed to help keep the landfills from over flowing so much.  Helping to recycle good usable things.  People post things that want to give away and things they are in need of.  Everything has to be free.  I have given and recieved on this.  It is nationwide so just go to your state and town or closest town and join the group.

  6. not sure about a organization but if you go to craigs list for your city look under free people are always giving furniture away

  7. some churches

    slavation army

    goodwill

does your local paper have section where there are things for sale or absolutely free items.. ours does..

also, sometimes just asking around helps. you would be surprised at so much stuff people have but would be willing to give away if they knew someone was in need

  8. check with your local council, benefits agency, social security department.

  9. Nothing is free =\

  10. try calling some church's....the church were i work at they have this program that helps out and they sometimes donate mattresses and other living needs.  We are located in Ontario, CA and its called NEW HOPE

  11. The junk yard.

  12. I live in a college town and I know after every semester they go in ( dorms, apts anywhere the student had lived) and toss out all the mattresses regardless..... If you live by a college and or University .. check it out

  13. Where are you located?

In Charlotte, NC there is a ministry called Crisis Assistance Ministry that has beds, furniture, clothing and will assist with utility payments.

It's a federal law that you cannot sell a used mattress so it should be fairly easy to find a ministry, church or non-profit that will give away a mattress.

    Good luck

  14. maybe the salvation army but you could try this website www.freecycle.org  maybe someone is getting rid of theirs or your friend could find something else he/she needs.

    it's all free.

  15. salvation army

  16. Email me.

I may have some odds and ends for your friend.

Some clothing too..tell me what size she needs.

    Thanks :)    xo

    :)

  17. Put an add on craigs list, or look in your local paper in the free ads

  18. I'm not sure where you live, but I live in British Columbia, Canada.... and on Yahoo I'm in a group called "Freecycle". It's where people post items they have to give away.... like a Salvation Army but free. You can also find new homes for things that would usually just get thrown away. It's great.

I hope that helped you, or your friend.

    Take care.

  19. No one should ever take a used mattress unless they know absolutely where it came from,,,mattresses contain all sorts of nasties including bed bugs,,,,think about it,,,,,

  20. Nothing is usually free but yopu could find a place that is probalbly selling a mattres for not as much as a new one.

  21. try da garbage bins

  22. Yup,here you go! *gives 1000 mattresses*

  23. A lot of times state or local laws restrict selling or giving away used mattresses because they can not be properly cleaned.  I don't know of anywhere that gives away brand new mattresses, they can be very expensive.  This might be something that your friend will just have to really save up for.  Maybe she can use her tax rebate?

  24. I don't know about free, but some thrift stores (I think the Salvation Army thrift stores, but I can't remember) they rebuild mattresses, so they sell them dirt cheap, but all the material is brand new!

I got one once, it was great, and it was under $100.

  25. craigs list has a free section, if you have a truck you can pick stuff up all day long....
