Are there places that you plink or rec shoot that are not regular ranges.?

Question

I go plinking and rec shooting in the desert in AZ off the I-17 near Phoenix. It's a little out of the way and right against a mountain. I'm not saying exaclty where but some people who live in AZ might know where I'm talking about. Haven't been there in a couple months. I want to go shooting bad, I need to relieve stress. I heard there was a small brush fire there so I don't know if (and hope not) parks service or whatever there called closed it off. There's more spots but that's one of the best layed out and closest to where I live.
